This fall 8 different student groups presented 90 second elevator pitches for potential business concepts.

On November 14, 2016, the Kabara Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies hosted its annual elevator pitch competition.

The winners of this competition are:

  • First place, Stephany Beck with “Click-a-Cane,” $200.
  • Second place, Rowan Flynn with “Healthcare BI Program,” $150.
  • Third place, a tie between Sean Butcher and Max Champa with “A data analytics business” and “A weather-adapted phone case,” $100 each.

Additionally Beck’s presentation was chosen as having the most social impact and Flynn’s was chosen as most innovative; each received an additional $50 for these honors.
